Safeguarding
// SAFEGUARDING SUPPORT //
Here at Pentecostal Church Centre Burbage we are committed to creating a safe space and following government and thirtyone:eight guidelines on safeguarding both children and adults with care and support needs, including good working practice, and safe recruitment of workers.

Solomon Bentu is our Lead Safeguarding Officer
Robin King is our Deputy Safeguarding Officer

Our Safeguarding Team, which includes various members of different PCC Burbage ministries, meets regularly to discuss safeguarding issues and keep up to date.

We regularly train and update our teams who work with children, young people and vulnerable adults around Safeguarding. We have a full recruitment process for team members including written applications, two references, DBS checks and interviews.

We are very aware of the importance of online safety as so many people are accessing the online world. Young people are using the internet more than ever for social connections, entertainment and online learning.
